Collagen-coated Series
Cat#LV-Coated
(For research use only)
I. Introduction
Type I rat tail collagen is an important extracellular matrix that promotes cell adhesion, cell differentiation, and maintains cell differentiation [1,2]. Our products are isolated and purified from SD rat tail tendons and coated into culture plates in a sterile environment. This product has undergone rigorous sterility and quality testing, and can be used for cell culture of a variety of primary cells, including liver cells, vascular endothelial cells, islet beta cells, etc. This product is independent vacuum packaging, easy to use, cost-effective.
II. Reagents and Materials
- Collagen Coated Plates/Dishes/Flasks (Cat#LV-Coated)
- Sterile PBS
- Pipette and consumables
- Biosafety cabinets
III. Pre-processing
1. Spray 75% ethanol evenly on the outer packaging of collagen-coated plate for disinfection, put it into a biosafety cabinet, and remove the packaging.
2. Add sterile PBS per well/dish/flask in the amount of the corresponding medium used. If a 12-well plate needed, add 1 ml of PBS per well.
3. Shake the coated plate/dish/flask to wash the remaining acetic acid in it, and remove the PBS to use it.
Special instructions: Due to room temperature placement or transportation, collagen-coated plate/ dish /flask may precipitate collagen fibers or salt ion crystals, resulting a "stain" of the plate in the phase contrast microscope. It is normal and does not affect subsequent use.
